Our Story
Calla began with two border collies, Cassie and Nala. Cassie was my childhood dog for fourteen years. I was young then and I never quite got to take her out into the world the way I wanted to.
After she passed, I made a promise to myself that with Nala, I would do all the things I never got the chance to do with Cassie, with her. Every car ride, every outing, every adventure.
But the travel essentials I tried always let me down, fur that clung no matter what, dirt was hard to get rid of and quality that never lasted. I knew there had to be something better. So I decided to build it myself, starting with our pet seat cover.
We aim to create a thoughtful range of pet travel essentials each one designed to make life on the move with your dog easier, calmer and more comfortable. Because Calla is for Cassie, for Nala and for every pet owner who simply wants to make the most of every moment with the ones they love.
Product Features
HEAVY-DUTY 600D OXFORD
Made from water-resistant 600D Oxford fabric that wipes clean easily and dries quickly. Built for muddy paws, a trip to the beach, shedding and everyday mess.
DOUBLE-ZIP MESH WINDOW
The breathable centre window provides easy access while helping to keep your dog in the rear. It maintains visibility and airflow and is able to unzip on both sides. This visibility also helps with anxiety on longer drives.
REINFORCED 5MM HARD BASE
Strong 5mm load-bearing hardboard panels create a firm, stable base, providing greater support for our pets and multi-dog journeys.
VELCRO SEAT BELT OPENING
Buckle your dog in with their existing harness without removing the cover or losing the fit. There are also seat anchors and non-slip backing that help to prevent the cover from shifting allowing more stability and security.
FOLDABLE DESIGN
Fold down one side to seat a passenger or fit a child seat in the back without needing to take the whole cover off.
DUAL STORAGE POUCHES
One on each side for leashes, treats, poop bags, wipes and your dog's favourite toys. The velcro closure keeps everything secure and out of reach, particularly useful when there are treats involved.
